Existing hotels and boarding houses were nationalized- hotel Volarić, Geistlich's hotel Baška became summer home for children from Zagreb- "Bodulka", hotel "Europa" was redecorated and became the summer home for union members from Niš. Summer home of Slovenian company from Murska Sobota was built on the ruins of hotel "Grandić".

Boarding house Jadran became the Children's Home "Slavonska Požega".
There were 3,583 visitors in Baška with 48,297 overnight stays (out of which 699 foreign)

Municipal Tourist Boards were established (instead of bathing committees).

Hotel Enterprise Baška was established with 54 beds in hotel Baška (ex hotel Volarić) and two employees.
The first guests were members of unions from various organizations that came to Baška for vacation and recovery.

HP Baška acquired objects Velebit and annex Diana with total capacity of 130 beds and 6 employees.
1951
HP Baška purchased "Mirna" from Gradska štedionica Zagreb. It had 16 beds. Tourist Board of Baška was established on 18 April 1952.

There were 3,484 vistors to Baška and 61,208 overnight stays (year 1935).
Croatian- Czech Sea and Climatic Bathing Facility ceased its activity.
Festival of folk dances was held in Baška
210 beds and 393 house numbers were registered in Baška
During World War II all tourist activities were suspended. Many buildings in Baška were torn down or damaged during bombings, among those also hotel Grandić.
