KRK 'N' ROLL MTB MARATON

Baška and Krk Island have been one of the most attractive cycling destinations in Kvarner for years, intertwined with an endless network of trails, roads and paths in all possible forms.
Krk 'n' Roll has been a part of the Baška Outdoor Festival for the eighth year and thus has become a favorite race at the end of the season that is not to be missed.
This October race takes place when the air is still warm on the sea coast and the islands, and the mild sun of the summer has not yet said its last word. In the past 7 editions, it has attracted over 2,500 competitors eager for excitement and games.
There are three tracks of 70 km/ 46 km/ 27 km, and you choose which of them you will ride during the race.
The number of entry fees is limited, hurry up to get yours and take your place on the starting line!

Baška is also ideal for sports climbing, an increasingly popular discipline in recent years, as it boasts as many as four well-equipped climbing areas suitable for both beginners and those for whom rock climbing is a way of life. Because of the great interest in climbing on natural rocks in the surroundings of Baška, we have organised climbing at two sites: Portafortuna on Saturday 12 October and Belove Stene on Sunday 13 October.
The Touch the Sky programme is also suitable for beginners (aged 12 or over) under the supervision of the Anima Adventures expert team. If you have no climbing experience or have already forgotten how to climb a rock, join the experienced instructors of Anima adventures and fall in love with the view of the sky!

On Sunday 13 October, for those who prefer hiking, there will be the Rocky Hill Hike Tour in the company of an expert guide from Promotiv Travel Outdoor that will acquaint you with Baška and its surroundings.

An attractive trail starts from Draga Bašćanska, a picturesque settlement in the Baška valley. From here we set out to conquer the highest peak of the island called Obzova, which rises 569 m above the sea. The demanding ascent to the karst plateau will reward you with unforgettable views. In addition to the top of the island, we will show you a real small oasis in the stone desert - Vela Lokva. Located in a wide valley where sheep graze, it looks like a green eye in which both the sky and the mountain are reflected. At the Kunjalabor viewpoint, you will rest and enjoy the stunning view of Baška and Northern Velebit, before descending the same way back to Draga Bašćanska.

For our youngest lovers of the active lifestyle, this year we'll also organizing sports and recreation workshops. A slackline, sports games, climbing on an artificial rock and a mountain bike school will introduce the youngest participants to the world of adventure.
